Cascade. Cascade unfolds as a quiet chain of reactions—material, emotional, and elemental—moving in slow, continuous descent like water slipping over stone, each moment, generation after generation yields to the next—soft collisions, escalations, gradual dissolves, and persistent flow shaped by time.

Rooted Radiance. The work honours feminine energy as both grounded and transcendent—rooted in the soil yet pulsing with life-force energy. In View. A raw, monochromatic surface centers on a dark, off-balance circle—an eye-like form held in a state of eyes wide shut. From within, a faint light begins to swell, pressing through distortion as truth slowly, almost reluctantly, comes into view.

Off Centre. Off Centre is a conceptual painting that explores the quiet distortion of self that can emerge through intergenerational absence. The work tells a story where attention, care, or emotional presence has been inconsistently passed down, leaving an imprint that is less about visible damage and more about subtle displacement.

Within this experience, the figure does not fully occupy the center of their own life. Instead, they drift slightly askew—observing themselves and others from a marginal vantage point, as though their internal coordinates were set just off alignment.

Off Centre becomes a meditation on how absence can shape presence, and how inherited neglect can produce an enduring sense of living adjacent to one’s own experience rather than fully within it.

Entering the Water. Terracotta Clay merge like echoes of skin on water, tracing the fragile boundary between body and the water’s boundary and depths. The work holds the memory of touch—the sensory act of moulding clay, its yielding resistance, its imprint on the hands. Just as the material is shaped, so too are we moulded by our environments, carrying the marks of place, time, and experience upon our own surfaces.
