The studio is where the work begins — a space of material, process and exploration.

Here, the paintings develop through a slow dialogue between earth, memory and emotion. Natural pigments, clay, stone, plant dyes and other elemental materials are gathered, prepared and layered, allowing each work to evolve through processes of excavation, erosion and transformation.

The Studio offers a glimpse into the world surrounding the paintings; the landscapes and materials that inform the work, moments of making and experimentation, inspirations, stories and details from works in progress.

Alongside the photographic archive, the Studio will also become a place for moving image, sharing films and glimpses of the painting process through my YouTube channel.
